The Expert Soft’s team introduced dynamic delivery pricing to address a persistent issue: every Friday, the delivery system was overwhelmed with orders, while Mondays and Tuesdays remained underutilized. The solution was simple but effective: adjust delivery costs based on the day selected. Customers choosing less busy days paid less, encouraging load distribution across the week.

The logic was tested and rolled out ahead of a major promotional period to ensure stability under pressure.

In parallel, the team developed a separate flow for accelerated delivery during promotions, allowing customers to receive certain products as early as the next day. This required configuring fulfillment workflows to selectively support faster processing without disrupting the standard operations.

Both features were implemented in a way that worked seamlessly within the existing SAP Commerce Cloud infrastructure, ensuring business users could manage configurations without developer intervention.
